On October 25th, 2025 our community came together to honor the outstanding dedication and service of our local law enforcement officers at the annual Greater Hampton Roads Regional Crime Line Top Cop Awards. The event was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront and it recognized officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating exceptional courage, compassion, and commitment to keeping our community safe. Each nominee was celebrated for their remarkable contributions, and the night concluded with the presentation of the Top Cop Award to Detective Tamara Jamison of the Suffolk Police Department.
